What is a Loving Lynx?

LOVING LYNX was created from the crossing of the most affectionate, health tested and wild looking Maine Coons. Wild-looking felines perfect for people who want a the look but realize wild animals are unpredictable.

No wild cat blood, completely domestic cat breed with a dependable temperament. A blend of American and European bloodlines selected for optimal health. For years I watched Maine Coon breeders all over the world archiving select pairings for the day I would follow my dream to create a healthy properly screened Maine Coons that we call the “Loving Lynx”.

A wild looking cat without wild tenancies.

LOVING LYNX emerged from a dedicated effort to breed the most affectionate and health-verified Maine Coons, showcasing a captivating, wild-like appearance. These remarkable cats are perfect for individuals who admire the aesthetics of wild felines while recognizing the inherent unpredictability associated with them. However, you can be assured that there is no trace of wild ancestry in our cats; they are entirely domestic and celebrated for their dependable temperaments.

My breeding program features a thoughtful combination of American and European bloodlines, carefully selected to promote optimal health and well-being. With over 13 years of experience observing Maine Coon breeders across the globe, I have meticulously studied their selective breeding practices to fulfill my vision of establishing a healthy and well-screened line of Maine Coons, which we proudly refer to as “Loving Lynx

This allows cat enthusiasts to enjoy the striking appearance reminiscent of wild cats without the unpredictable behaviors that often accompany them. Our commitment to breeding excellence ensures that each cat embodies both beauty and temperament, making them the ideal companions for those who appreciate the allure of the wild in a domestic setting.

Compare Breeds

Not a hybrid cat breed.

Maine Coons are 100% domestic safe replacements for wild cats such as Caracal, Lynx, Ocelot, or Serval. They are widely recognized as one of the most affectionate and gentle cat breeds available, making them an ideal companion for families and individuals alike. These magnificent felines are among the largest domesticated cat breeds globally, with some individuals astonishingly measuring up to 38 inches in length and weighing between 18 to 30 pounds!

Owning a Maine Coon means welcoming a loving pet into your home that boasts a lineage free from wild ancestry, ensuring a friendly and sociable demeanor that is perfect for any household.

Bobcat hybrids and Lynx hybrids are absolutely genetically impossible. No breeders or scientist has ever proven by DNA that any so called hybrid exists. Even if they could exist that would make awful pets. Lynx cats are notoriously mouthy (bitty), they are very hard to handle and will not act like a domestic.

HEALTH TESTING

They receive a comprehensive set of results for 40 genetic diseases and also tests for 20+ traits (including blood type, coat colors, coat types, and morphology).
